Experience Texas history in action at Plaza de Valero, just steps from The Crockett Hotel. Each day at 11:30 a.m., the Alamo's Living History team presents an exciting Musket Firing Demonstration that brings the story of the Battle of the Alamo to life.
During this engaging 15-minute presentation, visitors can discover how the flintlock musket—the firearm used during the historic battle—was loaded and operated while learning about its role in shaping Texas history. The live firing demonstrations use blank charges, creating an unforgettable experience that's both educational and family-friendly.
