Your journey begins with a ride in an old coffin cage, and then….. Ripley’s Haunted Adventure takes you on a spooky adventure featuring live actors, animatronics and special effects sure to send shivers up your spine. Located across from the Alamo, this unnerving attraction is open daily.
Gather in front of the Alamo nightly at 8:15 PM and follow your guides, dressed in period costumes, as they light your way with lanterns through an informative tour of San Antonio’s most haunted sites. An alternative program begins with dinner at the Menger Hotel, one of the city’s well-known harbors of ghosts, then continues with a nightly ghost tour around downtown.
Kid-friendly Halloween event, enjoy trick-or-treating, face painting, entertainment and more.
Search out spirits using tour-supplied ghost hunting equipment as you visit 13 haunted locations in the city center. Alamo City Ghost Tours provides knowledgeable guides who bring the past to light seven days a week, beginning at 9:00 PM in Alamo Plaza. If you have a group of 30 or more, arrange to take an air-conditioned bus ride to San Antonio’s oldest graveyards and learn the intriguing stories of some of the city’s long-departed citizens.
Each weekend in October, enjoy the kid-friendly spooky adventures at Seaworld San Antonio.

The Alamo presents this new exhibit featuring firearms that helped settle the Texas frontier. From Flintlock to Cartridge (1836-1876) learn the fascinating history and evolution of the firearms industry.
Living History - First Saturday Every Month
